His other projects as a camera and/or steadicam operator include the pilot episode of Paramount Television's science fiction series, Seven Days (starring Norman Lloyd) and feature films including Steel (featuring Gary Graham, Charles Napier, and Eric Pierpoint), Overnight Delivery (starring Sarah Silverman), The Legend of Bagger Vance (featuring Bruce McGill and Harve Presnell), Blow, Seabiscuit, Something's Gotta Give, Flightplan, and Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. Star Trek is the second film Rowlands has worked on which stars Chris Pine; the first was 2004's The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (also featuring John Rhys-Davies). Rowlands' more recent film credits, in addition to Star Trek, include the drama Frost/Nixon (starring Frank Langella as Richard Nixon) and the comedy Get Smart (starring The Rock). Both films were released in 2008.
