Tauren Ó Marcaigh (May 1, 4030 - September 16, 4129) is a Kirlawan politician who represents the province of Merkan in the General Assembly. She was previously the Provincial Representative for Merkan from 4052 to 4077, when she resigned from both the post and the Conservative Party of Kirlawa to join Saoirse as its Deputy Leader. In 4085, Saoirse merged with the Nuchtmark Conservative Party to form Ár Ré; Marcaigh ran for the inaugural leadership elections, coming in 5th and becoming Treasurer and Spokesperson for Finance of Ár Ré.

She was previously the Provincial Representative for Merkan from 4052 to 4077, when she resigned from both the post and the Conservative Party of Kirlawa to join Saoirse as its Deputy Leader. In 4085, Saoirse merged with the Nuchtmark Conservative Party to form Ár Ré; Marcaigh ran for the inaugural leadership elections, coming in 5th and becoming Treasurer and Spokesperson for Finance of Ár Ré. She was later appointed as Treasurer of Ár Ré before being appointed to the post of Minister for Internal Affairs in the Magnum III ministry. She continued as Spokesperson for Internal Affairs of Ár Ré under Rebecca Shimmerman's tenure as Leader, until she succeeded her as Leader of Ár Ré in the 4116 leadership election. In her first election as Leader, Ár Ré suffered its worst electoral defeat to date, securing only 50 seats in the General Assembly and coming in dead last in the presidential vote. Marcaigh faced immense pressure to resign, as a leadership challenge was fronted against her, which she won by a slim margin. Nonetheless, she helped the party gain 80 seats in the subsequent 4123 elections, although she resigned from her post as Leader only a year later in 4124, being succeeded by Minato Monata. She would continue to run as the party's presidential candidate in the 4127 presidential election before resigning withdrawing her candidacy the year later.
