The Cult of the Sphere was a group of dark side Force users brought together by Adena Kheldrommas after she tapped into the powers of the darksphere, a device created by the Infinite Empire that could store and share knowledge through a telepathic link. The actions of the group led to them being pursued by the Jedi Order and a fledging Dark Jedi sect, which believed that the Cult's actions were harming the Dark Jedi's attempt at creating a reputation of following an expanded, not evil, view of the Force.

abstract	The Cult of the Sphere was a group of dark side Force users brought together by Adena Kheldrommas after she tapped into the powers of the darksphere, a device created by the Infinite Empire that could store and share knowledge through a telepathic link. The actions of the group led to them being pursued by the Jedi Order and a fledging Dark Jedi sect, which believed that the Cult's actions were harming the Dark Jedi's attempt at creating a reputation of following an expanded, not evil, view of the Force. After being tracked down to Tatooine, the Cult was engaged by the Jedi and Dark Jedi during the Battle of the Sphere. The Cult was destroyed and Adena fled, hoping to create a new cult, but she too was captured by her grandfather, Calid Baatch, and her mother, Mira Baatch. As a result of her actions, Adena was sentenced to spend eternity sleeping in a hyperspace stasis pod. Mira took the darksphere and hid it away, hoping that no one would find it again and create a new cult.
