In one permutation of the mirror universe in which the Terran Empire survived well into the 24th century, the Iliad was an ancient Terran epic poem written by the poet Homer in the 8th century BC. In 2367, the Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the primary universe examined the Iliad using the ISS Enterprise-D's literary database. It was largely similar to its primary universe counterpart.
