  • Do you have any advice on tent care or selecting the right tent? If you do, please edit this page and add them. Other kinds of tents include small, temporary structures to protect young plants or play tents that children construct for fun, creating a small play area with a sheet or similar cover.
  • Carrying a tent in your inventory gives you the same stamina recovery rate as being in a village area but it also allows your character to recover stamina while offline. Tents are a cash shop item and cannot be traded.
  • The tent will save 8 items within a 2m radius from the centre, which is mostly inside the tent. This is very useful if you have a Campfire or BBQ at your camp. The tent also offers camouflage for hidden items or boxes, hiding it inside bushy or overgrown areas is a good tactic.
  • They are used to represent military encampments, similarly to the Yurt and Pavilion from Age of Empires II, and have three separate models, depending on the player's culture; one for the Greeks, one for the Norse, and one for the rest of the civilizations (Atlanteans, Chinese, and Egyptians).
  • The Tent belongs to the Oracle, and can be retrieved after an avalanche during the Perils of Ice Mountain quest. It is located to the east of Oracle at the base of the mountain. It has to be repaired using a saw, 2 nails, a hammer, and two planks.
  • In some games, another item, called a Cottage, usually appears.
  • The tent that was used as a makeshift waiting hall for the Special Court. Like the waiting hall in the Labyrinthian courthouse, this tent served a similar function to the defendant lobbies that Phoenix Wright is more familiar with.
  • In Kingdom Hearts II, it costs 100 munny and it can be sold for 25 munny. It can be bought in any Moogle shops, Wantz's Item Shop in Twilight Town, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie's Item Shop in Hollow Bastion or Radiant Garden.
  • A tent is adventuring gear meant to use in a campsite as a portable shelter. It has no direct description in 4th edition. [PH:222][HotFL:335][HotFK:336] * Price: 10 gp * Weight: 20 lb. The price and weight match the standard tent in D20 and Pathfinder. Pathfinder considers a tent of this size to be small (or normal), where it can house 1 medium creature or two small creatures. A tent of this size can be setup in 20 minutes, and packed back up in 10 minutes.[1] There's no direct benefit written in the rulebook, although it's more than enough to discourage animals from entering.
  • __NOWYSIWYG__ The Tent is a consumable in FarmVille. Players needed to collect these items as part of the Wildlife Adventure Countdown, a 12 days activity.
  • A tent is a shelter consisting of sheets of fabric or other material draped over or attached to a frame of poles or attached to a supporting rope. While smaller tents may be free-standing or attached to the ground, large tents are usually anchored using guy ropes tied to stakes or tent pegs. Tents range in size from one-person bivouac structures for a hiker to sleep in, to huge (circus) tents capable of seating thousands of people. Common camping tents generally have sleeping space for one to ten people.
  • Tents are items that can be used on the World Map and at Save Points to restore character's HP, MP, and SP to 100%
  • A large, disposable tent that can hold up to eight people. A nice long nap will fully restore HP and MP. __NOEDITSECTION__
  • Tents are stat management buildings used as portable places to sleep. Though only replenishing 80 energy in one cast (and therefore taking longer to restore trolls), and having a shorter cast range, it's portability makes it a useful item that can be carried around on long distance trips away from the main base, used as a substitute for fires in the art of fire trapping, or as an easy to set up raid outpost on enemy islands. The main strength of the tent is also its greatest weakness, the fact that it can easily be packed.
  • In 2024, many people in the Sanctuary Districts lived in tents since there were not enough houses for them to be in. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part I", "Past Tense, Part II") Some of the inhabitants of Bozeman, Montana lived in tents in 2063. (Star Trek: First Contact) In 2151, Commander Tucker and Ensign Mayweather camped in a tent on the surface of Archer IV. (ENT: "Strange New World") In 2267 during a power struggle over mining rights, Captain Kirk, Spock, and Doctor McCoy had their gear stored in a tent after surrendering weapons and instruments as a sign of good faith. (TOS: "Friday's Child" )
  • Tents are one of the lodging options available on Vacation Island. In the default lots, they will be found in the forest and beach areas. Tents rent for 79 simoleons a night, and two Sims can sleep in one. When Sims who are sleeping in a tent wake up, they automatically change into the appropriate clothing for the area of Vacation Island they're in. Just having a hotel key doesn't allow Sims to use tents, but Sims that have hotel keys can rent them. While Rental Shack Zack talks of "checking out" when a tent is rented, what appears to happen is that the rental expires at 11:00 AM.
