Ernest Alfred Minter (22 September 1884 - 8 March 1955) was a bank official and politician. Born in Hoxton, he was the son of Ernest and Mary Minter. His father was a gilder. In 1927 he was appointed manager of the Camden Town branch of Barclays Bank. He was chairman and treasurer of St Pancras Rotary Club. He became a member of St Pancras Borough Council and served as Mayor of St Pancras for three successive terms from 1941-44 during the Second World War.
