- The Gretel series of robots are a line of slender robots, as well as the only "female" robots in each game. In each edition of the Gretel Series; the same look has been maintained, usually with clothing differences (the only partially different frame look is the Gretel Mark II, due to her/it being shorter than the other renditions). - Gretel is a bizarre woman who lives in Pawnee, who does weird things and often makes unreasonable demands of the Parks department. Gretel is played by Sara Van Horn. She once asked Leslie Knope to remove the slugs from around her house but not to kill them and not to get rid of all of them.

A Grimm Warning takes place long after Hansel and Gretel's escape from the witch; Gretel is a grown woman and is imprisoned in Pinocchio Prison for killing her brother Hansel. She only appears in chapter 17.

- Hansel and Gretel are helping their father in the woods, and before they leave, their father gives Gretel a compass pendant so that she's able to find her father again. Hansel and Gretel wander off on their own and decide that it's getting late and that they should get back to father, however, they are unable to find him, and to make matters worse, they bump into a carriage belonging to the Evil Queen. The initially try to run but the Queen soon catches them, and admires their moxie. She says that she will help them find their father if they do something for her in return, and the children agree. The Queen then leads the two young souls to a Gingerbread house - the home of the Blind Witch. Hansel and Gretel are told to retrieve a satchel from within the house but are warned not to eat anyt
- In the tale of Hansel and Gretel, Hansel and Gretel's parents are very poor and so have decided to take the children out into the woods (their father had been pushed into the decision by his wife, the children's stepmother), build them a fire and leave them there so they no longer have to care for them. But, Hansel and Gretel over heard this plan and Hansel decided to collect pebbles that he would drop along hte way so they could find their way back home. The next morning they are taken out into the woods--Hansel carrying the pebbles and Gretel carrying bread (the last meal their parents will give to them). So after a long while the children are able to make it back to the house.
- Gretel is a potions dragon. She gets her flowers and seeds that are used in her potions from Liz's garden and the garden of Henry Bacon, their neighbor. Once she even used a drop of Zanna's blood in a potion. She mixes seeds and flower petals into certain flower heads to make her potions. Sometimes she will mix the ingredients into a liquid and then dip the flower in it. Often all she has to do is get a person or dragon to smell the potion flower to activate the potion's effects. She has even been shown to understand flowers, getting the listening dragon that sits on the fridge to listen to flower petals from Henry's garden after mixing them with a certain potion.
