- Ice dragons are a part of the lighter weight class of dragons, and are arguably the smallest and weakest of dragons. They aren't extremely fast or intelligent either, and are often deployed in mass numbers in an attempt to overwhelm enemies.
- The ice dragon breathes a freezing breath at the enemy. Anyone caught is stopped in their tracks and takes damage. Like all dragons, they only last a limited time so make use of them quickly. - Ice Dragons were released on November 22, 2009, alongside Magma and Thunder Dragons. If users have one of each of these dragons, collectively known as the Legendary Trio, then the dragons have a breed specific action available for use known as Summon. This BSA allows one to use the dragon's united forces to attempt to summon a Guardian of Nature egg. The more trio sets a user has on their scroll, the more likely a summoning attempt will be successful. When sorted by "Breed", they are listed as "Ice" on a user's scroll.
- The Ice Dragon was released in December 2010. It was Retired in February 2014. Its pet specific item is the Ice Tower Lookout and its pet specific food is the Mythical Milkshake.

Additionally, Ice Dragon appears as collectible keychain in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, using his sprite from Kirby's Dream Land 2.
- Ice Dragon (氷龍 koori ryuu) is an unnamed dragon boss from Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, so it is simply referred to as the Ice Dragon. It is the Ice counterpart to Smaugan the Flame Dragon, dwelling inside a hidden section of the Cavern of Ice.
- During the Ice War, Ice Dragons wreaked havoc in Oberin. Sent out by the Ancient Ice Dragons, they were responsible for many attacks. Following the death of the great Ancient, 6 Ice Dragons filled up the Ice Dungeon. In the later stages of the war, the son of the ancient, Vandrovic, was a cunning and powerful Ice Dragon that caused turmoil.
- The Ice Dragon (氷竜 Hyōryū) is both a race and a class of Dragons that is first introduced in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. An uncommon type of Dragon, Ice Dragons expel Ice Breath in order to damage their foes. The Ice Dragon race also appears in The Blazing Blade, where it acts as the true identity of the mysterious sibling pair Ninian and Nils.
- Ice Dragons are a type of enemy in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They are only encountered when fighting Lord Fredrik, and are spawned when he blows his horn. In the beginning of the game, he makes one that freezes everything.
- The Ice Dragons are a genetic norn breed by Grendel Man which makes use of the Draconian Norn sprites. They are based on the magma genome. However, the ice dragons are the opposite of the magma norns-they love cold weather. They also make good grendel hunters, and are mostly carnivorous.
