| - Dark Pit is a major character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He was created by The Mirror of Truth when Pit steps in front of it to destroy it in Chapter 5: Pandora's Labyrinth of Deceit in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He originated from the black alternate costume for Pit from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Dark Pit, or Black Pit, nicknamed "Pittoo" by Palutena, which is the most common name that she and other characters call him, also called "Ptooey" by Hades on a couple of occasions, is the flawed, incomplete clone of the hero Pit and a major character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He serves as a rival to Pit and dons a portrayal of an antihero-like personality. He debuts in Chapter 5 and is first encountered for battle in Chapter 6. Dark Pit is sometimes called "Fallen Angel Pit" or "Kuro Pit" by fans and nicknamed "Pittoo" (in American and some European versions), "Tip" (in other European versions) or "Blapi (BuraPi)" (in the Japanese version) by Palutena. No matter which version it is, he hates the nickname.
- Dark Pit is an unlockable player in both versions of the Super Smash Bros 4.. He has the same moves as Pit but uses a different Final Smash, Dark Pit Staff.
- He is voiced by Antony Del Rio in the English version of Uprising, and by Minami Takayama in the Japanese version of the game.

- Dark Pit (ブラックピット Burakku Pitto?) is a character from the Kid Icarus series. He is a clone of Pit, created after Pit destroyed the Mirror of Truth in the 3DS game Kid Icarus: Uprising. He is almost physically identical to Pit, but wears a black outfit, has black hair and red eyes, and has a more serious and aggressive personality.
- Dark Pit is the dark, but not necessarily evil, counterpart of Pit who was created after Pandora tricked the latter into running straight into the Mirror of Truth. However, due to Pit smashing the Mirror before the process could be complete, Dark Pit is simply rebellious rather than outright malicious. Seeking to carve his own path, he battles Pit on several occasions, but fate forced Dark Pit to help his original whether he wanted to or not.

Whilst in this pit creatures take double damage, applying any feats that apply to critical hits, Along with 1d8 damage per level (Max 20d8).
