- Inami (Inami) is a Genbu Celestial Warrior who appears in Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden. She is a brothel madam who utterly despises rich and pampered girls. Her Genbu mark is placed upon the lower part of her stomach. Her celestial warrior powers involve controlling her hair to any length through a pipe. Her true name is Tarma (タルマ/Taruma), born under the star Ox (牛宿).

When he was born Inami was chosen by God Hekura Armadillo to seal wars between Bellacaibos and Patamis, who are their enemies who seek to kidnap the totem of the Sacred Armadillo (belonging to Bellacaibos), this message was received when a fragment of the totem fell on his chest when he was a baby. Since then Inami and Hyaema pass to be friends and have adventures together often hidden from their tribes, alongside Shimiwe, Tatoon and later to Aminata.

| - Inami is an Amazonian indigenous boy who was born in the tribe of the Bellacaibos of forest. When he was born Inami was chosen by God Hekura Armadillo to seal wars between Bellacaibos and Patamis, who are their enemies who seek to kidnap the totem of the Sacred Armadillo (belonging to Bellacaibos), this message was received when a fragment of the totem fell on his chest when he was a baby. Years later while walking with his canoe by the river in the middle there's a storm he fell and drowned in his canoe while the armadillo Tatoon (an cub) also drowned making the two meet, so Inami realized that Tatoon was his animal bond as the other members of his tribe who are also bond by forest animals. Also befriended the young Shimiwe, a boy his own age who also lives in Bellacaibo tribe. Upon reaching a certain age Inami and Shimiwe were requested to participate in a series of tests to cross into the "adult world" venturing into missions in the forest. In his first mission he along to Shimiwe are sent infiltrate the tribe of the Patamis to steal two amulets, but before that Inami saves the young girl Hyaema a being attacked by an alligator even though she was a Patami. After that the two try to infiltrate the tribe they are attacked by Moricas and his soldiers and end up running away after só much effort. However Hyaema help them complete the mission by giving them the amulets and awakening a passion for Inami. Since then Inami and Hyaema pass to be friends and have adventures together often hidden from their tribes, alongside Shimiwe, Tatoon and later to Aminata.
