  • Stickball was a street game related to baseball, particularly known in large cities in the eastern United States of America. The equipment consisted of a broom handle and a rubber ball. The rules came from baseball and were modified to fit the situation, i.e. manhole covers for bases with cars or buildings for foul lines. In the fictional Bashir 62 holoprogram written by Felix, stickball was played by Vic Fontaine and Frank "Frankie Eyes" Chalmers while growing up in south Philadelphia. Vic would mercilessly beat Frankie at stickball which would later cause friction between the two. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
