Mark Edward Kachowski (born February 20, 1965 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. A left winger, he played three seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Pittsburgh Penguins (1987–1990). He played junior hockey for the Williams Lake Mustangs in 1982-83 and for the Kamloops Junior Oilers and the Kamloops Blazers from 1983 to 1986. He was known as a rough player who averaged more than 150 penalty minutes a season. From 1989 to 1992 he played for the Lumberjacks and then retired in 1992.

He was known as a rough player who averaged more than 150 penalty minutes a season. Undrafted by any NHL club, he turned pro with the Flint Spirits in 1986-87. Kachowski played well enough for the Pittsburgh Penguins to sign him as a free agent in 1987. For the next three seasons Kachowski split his time between the Penguins and the Muskegon Lumberjacks. In all he played in 64 NHL games and scored 6 goals and 5 assists with 209 penalty minutes. From 1989 to 1992 he played for the Lumberjacks and then retired in 1992.
