The Ether Ring was a Piece of Eden created by the Isu, otherwise known as the First Civilization, which held the power of resurrection. It is a black ring imbued with a red stone. It was created by the Isu as a plan to survive the incoming solar flare, however despite their efforts, the Ring could not fully bring back the dead and was discarded, not before lacing a powerful curse on it to discourage others from using it. It was found and passed down through many families as an heirloom without knowledge of its powers, although there were many deaths due to wearing it which later made it be known as The Cursed Ring.
