Maury Pollack was an associate of Giuseppe Marconi in the mid-1990s. On 7 September 1996, Marconi brought Pollack with him to a branch of the Silver State National Bank where Anthony Aliso had kept a safe deposit box. Pollack's job was to drill open the box, which he did. However, the box was empty. Upon leaving the bank there was a shootout. Pollack was not injured.
