  • In less than two years FASHION.MUSIC.STYLE grew from a regional London-centric publication to a magazine sold in over thirty countries worldwide, including Borders and Barnes & Noble in the USA, and encouraged a following of far flung subscribers from around the globe. In its third and final year (2011) FASHION.MUSIC.STYLE was distributed for free through fashion/music stores and venues in the UK. The publication was popular for its creative art direction, combined with exclusive photography and quality interviews with some of the best new talent in the fashion and music industries. Features included The Drums, Foster The People, Interpol, The Naked and Famous, Underworld, Cold War Kids, Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club, Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris and Delphic. With the birth of FASHION.MUSIC.STYLE came the Five Unsigned - a regular feature created by founding publisher and editor-in-chief, Sarah Hardy, to support unsigned bands and give them the exposure that she believed they deserved. Those featured as unsigned bands/artists included Ellie Goulding (issue three), Anna Calvi (issue two) and Tribes (issue eight). All contributed two tracks to the regular Five Unsigned album that was tied in with the feature. Although primarily funded by the publisher, sponsors of the Five Unsigned CD included Breed Media (issues three, four and five) and Metropolis Group (issues six and seven). The name FASHION.MUSIC.STYLE and web domains fashionmusicstyle.com and fashionmusicstyle.co.uk were sold in July 2011 and the founder re-branded the magazine as FMS for online publishing activities in January 2012.
