| - In 2013, the rights to the Master of Orion 4X strategy game series was purchased by Wargaming.net. They hired NGD Studios to redevelop the game using today's technologies. It will also feature a fully orchestrated score and instersteller warfare. Wargaming.net also approached members of the original SimTex team and brought them on board as consultants, including the original composer, art director and two of the game designers who were , according to Wargaming, very excited to see their original game come back to life in a new way.
