Lass (VKF001) was First Seen in October 1993 in the Kakoo Mob, one of the first mobs ever tracked by the Kalahari Meerkat Project. Lass' position in the Kakoo remains unknown. She might have been the dominant female, given that she was the first Kakoo meerkat to be given an ID code and name. However, that was never confirmed. Sadly, by the end of 1993, the Kakoo had died out due to disease.
