Raised by a makeshift family of other unwanted orphans, the unwanted child was called 'Rice', since on the same day that the child was found a large bag of rice was discovered. While he is known as 'Rice' to his family, whenever he has to intereact with other people, he will use the alias of 'Jacob R. Shepard'. While life was hard, each member of the make shift family having to go to great lenghts to ensure that it stayed alive, they weren't unhappy. When Jacob was six, his adoptive mother Spice develeped a lung infection. She died shortly afterwards. While her death greatly upset Jacob, he didn't break down and kept going with his life. Four years later, adoptive father 'King' and older brother 'Duct' were both killed in the cross fire of local gang warfare. Swearing vengance, what remained of the small family got their hands on some weapons and spent the next two years training in their use, making contacts in their local underworld, and building up their allies. At the age of twelve, Jacob led the charge into a short but very bloody gang war. The exact body count was never discovered, but when the dust cleared 'Maths' was the new crime lord of the local area. After a few months of getting grips on control on their new turf, Jacob became bored. Having grown addicted to battle, he bid his brother and sister farewell and went freelance, spending the next eight years wondering from battle to battle, killing an uncountable number of people. Recently, even large battles have began to lose their thrill for Jacob. Seeking to improve the level of combat his enemies frought at, Jacob has decided to attempt to join the sith. His reasoning for this decision is that, with almost every single one of the other major powers in the galaxy hating them, great battles against next to impossible odds were only a matter of time.Family
Never knowing his birth parents, Jacob views the teenage girl named 'Spice' who raised him as his mother. Spice had, like all other members of her little family of makeshift orphans, been abandoned in the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa by her birth parents at a young age. She was a short girl being only five foot seven inchs, who had green eyes and red, shoulder lenght hair. She was a very mothering sort of girl, and so assumed the role of 'Mum' for the family. Tragically, she died at sixteen from a lung infection. The leader of the pack, 'King' was a hard but fair seventeen year old who was six feet tall with brown eyes and permature gray hair. He dead alongside 'Duct' when they were caught in the crossfire of a gang war that was raging at the time.
