Kann was a male Human who served as a Major in the Republic navy as well as the captain of Bravo 52. In 2,280 BBY he was given the order to attack Voltar under the false pretense that the Volta had struck first. During the attack, his ship suffered serious damage and forced them to drop their annihilation bomb on Viscera, the capital of Voltar. The bomb didn't explode and the ship was destroyed when the fuel line malfunctioned. Kann was jettisoned from the ship and fell to his death.
