This often causes the opponent to look at the eye, and even eye contact for a split second is enough to entrap someone in this juinjutsu seal technique. Eye contact is the source of this technique, similar to Genjutsu: Sharingan. Even before the eye appears, rings of chakra appear around the hand Kariko is using. These rings serve as a medium for the juinjutsu taking effect from the source. After eye contact is established, senjutsu chakra hones into the target similar to how chakra can put another person under genjutsu with a glace from Sharingan or even Rinnegan. The senjutsu chakra floods their system within an instant due to the eye contact. Juinjutsu seals begin to form on the person and soon, the target falls under the control of the user if the seals aren't stopped from spreading all over the body of the target. This can allow the user to bind and restrict the opponent or control them for another purpose. Also the flood of senjutsu chakra can also turn the opponent(s) to stone if the user wishes. Even when that happens, the seals remain and Kariko retains a golem-like creature to use for many other purposes. Many have fallen under the gaze of her random eye creation (which is not limited to her hand) and have allowed her many sources of recovery and weaponry. A powerful juinjutsu, those who fall under it become puppets for her control. However a downside of this technique is that the curse cannot take effect if the opponent is well versed in natural energy intake, such as a Sage Mode master.
