| - Pesh is an ancient, time-travelling city in the Upper World that Salamandra rules over. It is filled with goblins. Another notable resident of Pesh is Jabbo, the baker dragon whose pies can turn anyone into goblins. Pesh first came into existence thousands of years before Queen Zara's rule, but it mysteriously disappeared off the face of the Earth equally long ago. It reappeared in Queen Zara's time, and this was when Salamandra decided to siphon the magic from the Upper World. Queen Zara and her sons fought against her, but they could not prevent Salamandra from achieving her goal. Salamandra's forces captured a young Galen and imprisoned him in Pesh before Special Edition 1. The Magic Escapes. In this book, Eric Hinkle and his friends not only rescue Galen from being stuck in Pesh forever but also break the Portal of Ages, a powerful artifact that enables time travel, located in the city. The Portal of Ages still works well enough that Urik manages to enter it and get lost in time, only permanently escaping its effects in 1904. From his experiences, Urik wrote a book about Pesh. This book, as of Queen of Shadowthorn, is in Eric's hometown's library.
- Pesh is a resident of Pushopolis and the protagonist of the Pusher's Pile series. He is noble to anyone and tries to protect the city from Hazzies.
