- Constructs are the living creations of Mad Science. They fall into several general categories, usefully created, analyzed, and described by Karrion of the GG Yahoo Group:
- A Construct is a type of synthetic that is nearly completely organic compared to synthetics. Skeleton wise, it can be assumed its similar to most androids but the outer flesh, muscles and possibly the brain seem to be human-like in quality as its vunerable to the Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15 accelerant, which alters their physical appearance and behavior as well.
- Construct is the mobile fortress home to the Lord of Blades. Inspired by the mobile fortresses of Breland, the Lord of Blades created Construct to patrol the Mournland.

- Construct is the tenth full-length studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. It was released on May 27, 2013, in Europe, and on May 28, 2013, in North America, through Century Media Records. The band commented on the style of the album, saying, "While still bearing the unmistakable mark of the Dark Tranquillity, the record is probably our most different and diverse offering since 1999's Projector". A music video for "Uniformity", directed by Patric Ullaeus, was released on May 10, 2013.
- A construct is an animated object or artificially constructed creature. Since they do not depend on the functioning of organs, they are immune to sneak attacks, critical hits, mind-affecting spells, paralysis, poison, and disease. Since they are not actually alive, they are immune to death magic, level drain, and ability drain. As they lack their own consciousness, their alignment is usually true neutral. The great magic required to animate the more powerful golems makes them immune to some or all spells.
- A Construct is a stable, programmed energy form. Constructs are also referred to as egregores, artificial elementals, thought forms, servitors, and psi golems or energy golems. The Tulpa is a similar entity from Tibetan mysticism. They can be as simple as an independently standing Shield, or as complex as a fully sentient, mobile, shaped entity capable of using psi or magick on its own. Constructs need not remain tied to their maker to continue existing, but they do carry their maker's signature. __NOEDITSECTION__
- Constructs are either animated objects or any type of artificially constructed creatures. Most constructs are non-intelligent automotons with neither a soul nor a purpose beyond the service of their creator. Because few constructs are truly alive, usually operated only by a "spark" of life, most constructs are immune to attacks that target the living. These "dead" constructs possess low-light vision and darkvision and are immune to mind-altering, poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease-related, and death effects. Neither do these constructs require sleep or take part in any metabolic activities, such as eating or breathing.
- A Construct is a virtual work space or "loading program" created to run simulations or upload virtual objects for whenever Zion operatives hack into the Matrix. Created by Resistance members, a Construct would initially appear as a completely dimensionless, empty, white arena. Once a program is loaded, however, the Construct's operation is generally indistinguishable from that of the Matrix, and it follows the same basic rules of physics. It comes with a decoder included - unlike the Matrix itself, the activity in a simulation can be watched on the operator's monitors as though through a security camera. People do not need to dress in the Construct; their RSI is prepared or accessible before they enter the work area.
- This test is used when characters attempt to construct large, improvised items from basic materials; when trying to build a rough shelter, a raft, or a rope bridge, for example. The same test can also be used to decide whether emergency repairs can be made to things like wheels and axles. The test is made secretly by the GM and the result is noted down. A successful result means that the construction will stand up to whatever it was designed for. Failed tests can have varying effects, according to the amount by which the roll was higher than that required:
- Construct — or unlife — is a monster type in ADOM. They are insentient or semi-sentient monsters, that are damaged and destroyed by attacks rather than injured and killed. Constructs are immune to mindcraft, and cannot be examined using a stethoscope (the message "The -foo- seems rather to be a piece of furniture" is returned). They usually cannot repair themselves (unless by magical means), and most constructs never panic. All constructs are immune to death rays, stunning, paralysis, blindness, and poison. Weapons of vampirism and shadow touch do not provide HP if used against constructs.
- A Construct was an incredibly powerful machine, powered by the Secret Art, originally created by Rulke. It had the ability to trace the Way Between the Worlds, as well as fly. After Rulke's death in 2 ATM, the Aachim attempted to recreate his brilliant creation, however, failed to learn the secret to make their constructs fly. Tiaan Liise-Mar and Matah Malien, however, discovered the long lost secret of flight in 206 ATM and renamed constructs; Thapters. This article is a stub.
