"It's All Right to Cry", sometimes just called "All Right to Cry", is a Sesame Street song about the many reasons why people of all ages cry. Examples given include hurting oneself, being scared, and being tired. It was played over a live-action film showing many different kinds of people crying. The style of the song is a classic 1950s ballad. This song was different from a song of the same title that was performed by former Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Rosey Grier and featured on the 1972 album and 1974 special Free to Be... You and Me.
