As a child, Qas would often play with other children from his village, Narell was trained by his parents to salvage droids whenever possible, however in a run to the remote city of Mos Gamos he was attacked along with his companion Gtel by Tusken Raiders and were captured, Jedi Master Eeth Koth had ventured to Tatooine due to a strange signal coming from the Tatoo System, Koth landed in the outskirts of Mos Gamos, when Koth sensed a disturbance in the force, Eeth tracked the signal to a small Tusken Village in the outskirts of Mos Gamos, Koth was attacked by several Raiders but made quick work of the Tusken and eventually found Qas and Gtel as prisoners and sensed one of them was force-sensative however he could not tell which one was force-sensative due to them both being tied up back-to

| - As a child, Qas would often play with other children from his village, Narell was trained by his parents to salvage droids whenever possible, however in a run to the remote city of Mos Gamos he was attacked along with his companion Gtel by Tusken Raiders and were captured, Jedi Master Eeth Koth had ventured to Tatooine due to a strange signal coming from the Tatoo System, Koth landed in the outskirts of Mos Gamos, when Koth sensed a disturbance in the force, Eeth tracked the signal to a small Tusken Village in the outskirts of Mos Gamos, Koth was attacked by several Raiders but made quick work of the Tusken and eventually found Qas and Gtel as prisoners and sensed one of them was force-sensative however he could not tell which one was force-sensative due to them both being tied up back-to back, Koth untied them and managed to help them get home however when they got back to Narell's village all they saw was a dead village, Gtel and Qas weeped for the death of their parents and were scarred by the deaths of their parent's, Koth took them back to Coruscant to be tested for force-sensativity, surprisingly Koth found out both of them were force-sensative, Narell was later taken as an Apprentice to Eeth Koth, while Gtel was taken as an Apprentice to Saesee Tiin.
