The Bombers reached the finals their first 4 years, winning in 69 & 70. In 1977, because of economical times, Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Co. stopped sponsoring the team. In 1978, the WCHL franchise was sold, becoming the Edmonton Oil Kings. Also in 1978, the Bombers help form the NorMan Junior Hockey League. In 1981-82, the Bombers went undefeated, going 42-0. In 1984, the team joined the new Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The 1956-57 team was inducted into the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016. see Flin Flon Bombers History
