Born in 1983 in Paris, France, Bernabé began studying law in 2000. In 2004, she decided to leave that course to pursue a career in art. Bernabé enrolled in the school of Emile Cohl Lyon and spent four more years (2004–2008) studying art and animation. After graduation, she was hired for two years at Ubisoft as a character designer, where she worked as a 2D character designer and 3D character modeler on Assassin's Creed II and on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
