* Klaus says that he studied psychology at Frankfurt University. This is highly unlikely Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main was in West Germany and it would be very unusual for an East German to be allowed to study there. There was no university in Frankfurt , East Germany until 1991 either.
* At the time this episode aired, the Iraq war had ended.
* Greg dresses as Dr. Frank N. Furter and Terry as his creation Rocky from The Rocky Horror Show for Steve and his girlfriend .
* The badge on the right arm sleeve of Sgt. Pepper's uniform is the insignia of the rank of Corporal.
* Steve tells his parents "au revoir, les enfants," intended it to it mean "fuck you." The actual translation from French to English is "goodbye, children."
* Roger's Dr. Penguin settles down to read the same US Weekly magazine that Francine read in "Choosy Wives Choose Smith", that Roger previously read in "Star Trek" and Stan read in "Tearjerker".
