Gordon Muir Campbell (born January 12, 1948) was the United States Secretary for Housing and Urban Development, assuming that position on April 19, 2011 and leaving the DHUD on January 21, 2013 after the inauguration of Brian Williams. He is best known as the __th Governor of Pacifica, a position he held from 2003-2011, after spending sixteen years as Mayor of Sahalee (1986-2000). A Democrat, Campbell balanced the budget in Pacifica while lowering the state income tax to prevent the flight of wealthy employees and employers to neighboring Washington, and raised the minimum wage three times to give Pacifica the highest minimum wage in the country.
