A Cybrarian is the common name for the ruler of the Supreme Archives; the official title for this position is Supreme Archon. The original title, used by the ruler of the recently-destroyed nation of Intelligentsia, was Librarian, so-called to reflect the capitol city's status as more of a massive library of data than a traditional government capitol. However, it was the lax attitude toward governance inherent in that title that led to the downfall of Intelligentsia. Since the vast majority of the fledgling nation's archives were contained on the Internet, the title of Cybrarian - aside from being a functional description of the Supreme Archon's duties - was chosen to reflect the esoteric nature that knowledge had taken in the role of government. Pursuit of knowledge is the ideal, but until the nation is well-established the running of government, legislative matters and providence over the growing militia took precedence. The first and current Cybrarian of the Supreme Archives is Jacob Ezekiel Halevy. As of 13 April 2007 the Supreme Archives became, by order of the citizens, a monarchy. Since elections will no longer be held for the position of Supreme Archon, Jacob Halevy is expected to remain Cybrarian for the foreseeable future.
