Aleksei Savin (b. May 15th 1986 in Chelyabinsk, Russia, U.S.S.R.) is a former professional forward. A Russian nationalized Belarussian, Savin played for Yunost Minsk and was one of the most promising young player of the country. He played in the 2005 and 2006 World Championships, as well as in the 2005 and 2006 World Junior Championships. Savin was killed in a road accident in Chelyabinsk in 2007 when his bicycle was ran down by a car.
