too.many.records. is a blog created by Portuguese music journalist/photographer José Carlos Santos. There are no boundaries of genre or release date, a 2006 metal record is as welcome as a 1983 pop record. José himself focus mostly on rock, alt-country, indie and metal music, with several exceptions now and then, but the suggest-a-record feature allows you to propose any record for him to talk about. José started the blog in July 2006 and it's growing at a steady pace with very frequent updates. As of 2007, José started to include a song in .mp3 format of each record he reviews.

  • too.many.records. is a blog created by Portuguese music journalist/photographer José Carlos Santos. There are no boundaries of genre or release date, a 2006 metal record is as welcome as a 1983 pop record. José himself focus mostly on rock, alt-country, indie and metal music, with several exceptions now and then, but the suggest-a-record feature allows you to propose any record for him to talk about. The usual structure is a review-like text, preceded by all useful info about the record such as release date, length and song titles, and followed by the highlighting of the good and bad things about the record. José started the blog in July 2006 and it's growing at a steady pace with very frequent updates. At the end of each year, José will list his favourite 50 records of that year each with a short review. Readers are encouraged to participate, discuss and add their own lists. As of 2007, José started to include a song in .mp3 format of each record he reviews.
