The company had just started offering the choice of Signature active (aka, the prototype to what would later be the EMG SA model), Evans Eliminator or Seymour Duncan Trembucker pickups just closing for business in 1992. The Trembucker remains installed to this today. This guitar is now only used for live performances of the song "Time Stands Still" from the album "Hold Your Fire." Alex originally recorded this song using his customized flip-flop Pearl White Signature Aurora model and dubbed in his 1956 Fender Reissue model Telecaster, purchased circa 1983-4.
