The Sarajevo Winter Festival, is one of the major annual festivals in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is also known as "the Sarajevo Winter" for short, or Sarajevska Zima in Bosnian. The festival has been held for seventeen years, since the first in 1984/1985. It is described as a traditional summit of artists and citiznes of the world in the city. Thus far, the festival has showcased 2149 different exhibits, with 18,626 participants and 2,607,000 visitors.
