The RGR421EXFM features a mahogany body with flamed maple top bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with reverse headstock and 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge. It was originally introduced with Designed by EMG pickups. After those were discontinued in 2008, they were replaced by covered Ibanez V7 and V8 pickups. The RGR421EXFM was discontinued after 2009.
