In 1933, Princeton University Department of Art and Archaeology secretary Penelope Angstrom lived in a two-room apartment above a five-and-dime in Witherspoon Street overlooking Palmer Square. The Tiger Coffee House sat ot the corner of Witherspoon and Nassau Street.
