While working with her, He met Kuchinawa Gekkō whom he integrated some of Orochimaru's cells, which he had collected in secret. After hearing the death of Orochimaru Shiyōkinshi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan. He and Kuchinawa escaped the prisons and reached the Land of Iron, where he met Kiba Uchiha. the two Uchiha's faced each other in a long battle
