| - Surrounding a G1V yellow star by the name of Freedom, the Freedom system has grown into a paragon of order. A sparse asteroid belt called the Plaindid Belt sits just inside the Goldilocks zone, mined from 3000-3680, and thereafter claimed by the New Luna military as a training ground, and no longer open to civilian traffic. Sitting within the Goldilocks zone at 1.19 AUs out is a single 21,000 mile diameter blue-green planet by the name of New Luna, with thousands of satellites surrounding it, including a two mile by half mile asteroid called Welcome Rock.

About 8 AU out is a Jovian gas giant by the name of Tranquility with twenty-six natural moons, nine of them colonized, and four artificial satellites, including the massive Quetzal Shipyards. Nineteen AU out is a thick asteroid belt known as the Lincoln belt, which houses several mining colonies. Twenty-seven AU out is the Washington Belt, which also houses several mining colonies. Just outside of the Freedom system at 28 AU out is the space station called the Stars and Garters. Space traffic is heavy through this region, consisting of civilian, mercantile, and military traffic all ferried about by several traffic controllers.
