In computers and video-games, an update is something that someone makes itself update itself to help slow your computer/game system down and make you get viruses and stuff, and it can be really annoying, too, because it's so time consuming, and according to the automatic updater, it simply has to be done, which is obviously ridiculous, because you know for a fact that you were doing just fine without that slow, epic, useless update.
