Dennis Coburn is a character in The Tomorrow People U.S. TV Series, played by Al Sapienza. First seen in "Girl, Interrupted", Dennis is the father of Cara Coburn and her younger sister. He is called to the local jail after Cara accidentally kills a boy who had attempted to rape her. Later, when Cara returns home, Dennis tells her to go on the run. He secretly thinks they'll be better off without her; unbeknown to him, Cara has broken out and heard his thought.
