The Imperial Army (Ingzan: Ímpír Ármí, Bregaran: Enkotoko Nagadon) was the primary ground-based military force of the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire, the Imperial Marines also fought in ground battles, but they were not a dedicated ground-based force like the army. Some Army soldiers didnt like starship travel, they wanted to keep there feet on the ground. But starship travel was sometimes inevitable for the army, who had to be shipped in to reinforce the marines, like during the Invasion of Hyaxnox. The Imperial Special Land Service was the elite arm of the Imperial Army.

If I wanted to travel in spaceships I would've joined the Navy or Marines!—An Army soldier moaning about starship travel. The Army fought ground battles in the N'Akkiarlian-Ingzan War, like the Last stand at Ingza City, but were unable to defeat the N'Akkiarlians, who maintained aerial superiority over them and had blockaded them from outside help, with no food, medicine and other vital supplies and running out of ammo the Ingzan Army was forced to surrender, some Platoons and Companies of the Ingzan Army refused to surrender, and in last stands performed mass bayonet charges, but were crushed. During imperial rule the Imperial Army became a colonial army and was a branch of the N'Akkiarlian Army, it was renamed the "N'Akkiarlian Imperial Ingzan Army", which maintained colonial rule over the Ingza for their N'Akkiarlian masters.
