The 1992 Busch Clash was a Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) exhibition race for the 1991 pole winners run on February 8 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Geoffrey Bodine won his first and only Clash, leading 8 of 20 laps en route to a victory over Ernie Irvan. Also, the race's date was swapped with the date of Daytona 500 qualifying for this year only. The Clash was held on Saturday instead of Sunday, and Daytona 500 qualifying was held on Sunday instead of Saturday. This was done so CBS could devote more coverage to the 1992 Winter Olympics. Stats
