  • The New Jersey Devils are an American professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Devils first arrived in Kansas City, Missouri in 1974, then moved to Denver, Colorado after two seasons. They moved into New Jersey in 1982, and currently play their home games at the Prudential Center. The franchise, and its members, have won numerous team and individual awards and honors. They've captured the Prince of Wales Trophy as the Eastern Conference playoff champion four times. The Devils won the Stanley Cup three times, from 1994–95, 1999–2000, and 2002–03. Martin Brodeur has won Vezina Trophy four times, the William M. Jennings Trophy twice, and Calder Memorial Trophy once.
