| - =Physical Description=
Tall with broad, well muscled limbs from all the time he spends outside hiking and climbing. He has long black hair he keeps tied in a pony tail and hazel eyes that shine with a wild light. His skin is cinnamon colored and he has a tattoo of a dreamcatcher on his left thigh, a eagle on his right arm and a bear on his back. He like to wear ripped jean, and shorts and loose fitting clothing and usually does not wear a shirt and shoes.

Personality
Wild, hot blooded and loyal are used to best describe Jacob. He loves the great outdoors and spends a lot of his time hiking, swimming or mountain climbing. He has a strong love for the wild and respect for nature.
He has no tolerance for men who abuse women and children, this makes him very chivalrous to the point he asked Rickard to switch opponents with him when the Champions were training with the New Mutants squad and he didn't want to fight Surge.
He is also an infamous womanizer and notorious flirt. He has had handful of girlfriends at a single time and keeps his own little black book. He is described as being very smooth and takes great pride in his ability to charm a woman.
History
A Tough Childhood
Jacob had a tough childhood. His father was an alcoholic who both verbally and physically abused his family.
One day Jacob mouthed off to his father causing him to beat his son so bad it sent Jacob to the hospital. His sister Evie decided to get payback and poured all his alcohol down the kitchen sink. But he caught her in the act and hit her on the head with an empty beer bottle, causing her to pass out.
Jacob's mother Diane found her husband standing over their daughters unconscious form and in a state of maternal fury she grabbed a knife and stabbed him to death.
She quickly called some friends and they all worked together to hide any and all evidence of what happened.
Diane would tell that her husband left home, people were quick to accept this and no one cared to look into his disappearance because no one really cared he was gone.
Evie had awoken to see her fathers dead body and was the only one to know the truth. Diane never told Jacob, she was afraid he would hate her for killing his father.
Jacob was delighted his father was no longer in their lives, though he had to take up more responsibility he was more then happy to become the man of the house and eagerly assumed the responsibility of helping to care for his family.
Born To Be Wild
Jacob was known for three things, his love for his mother and sister, his temper and his love for women.
At school Jacob got into a lot of fights. He had a bit of a temper and was easy to provoke, and his classmates were quick to learn not to provoke him. That is not to say Jacob did not enjoying toying with other people and getting them all riled up.
More then once he got into a fight over the fact he had made out with another guys girlfriend.
When he turned seventeen he started to develop a bigger temper and got into more fights. He became more moody and withdrawn and his other feared he was going to go down the same path his father had. But what she nor anyone else knew was that Jacob's mutation was starting to activate and would soon manifest.
During a hunting trip with some friends they ran afoul a wild Grizzly.
The stress of his friends in danger caused Jacob to manifest his mutant power and he turned into a Wendigo and killed the bear.
Fearing for their lives and not knowing it was really Jacob his friends ran for their lives.
Fearing he was stuck in his monstrous form Jacob wondered through the forests of Canada for a few months. But eventually his urge to see his mother and sister became to strong to resist and under the cover of night he returned home.
He was spotted and Alpha Flight was called in to capture him. But they quickly realized they were not dealing with a typical Wendigo.
They called Logan who brought some of the X-Men with him and they were able to help Jacob return to his human form and he was reunited with his family once more.
Life in Westchester and the Champions
His mother convinced him to go with the X-Men to learn to control his powers better. He was reluctant at first, he did not like the idea of leaving his mom and sister to fend for themselves, but Diane assured him they were more then financially stable and could take care of themselves.
It took Jacob some time to get a handle on his new animalistic instincts but soon he learned to control his new temper and his ability to transform.
He bonded with several other mutants with beast-like mutations. Particularly with Nicholas Gleason with whom he formed a strong brotherly relationship.
During this time he was approached by Warren to join his team, the Champions to train to be an X-Man. Warren believed with enough time and some practice Jacob would make a great X-Man and his power would be a great use to the team.
Jacob agreed and took the codename of Kid Wendigo.
Attack on the Mansion
After the Champions first mission in Germany the school was attacked by the Purifiers and many students were killed.
Included among them was Nicholas. He died in Jacob's arms, causing him to go into a berserk fury and kill many of the Purifiers.
After the school was shut down Jacob returned home to his family, but kept in touch with his old friends.
Attack of the Wendigo's'''
Sadly Jacob wasn't able to relax for long, people from his reservation began to disappear and there were reports it was done by a Wendigo.
People began to assume Jacob was the culprit and he was brought in for questioning. When his old team mates learned of his plight they flew to Canada to help him out.
They soon discovered the evil shaman Ranark was behind the abductions. He was turning people into Wendigo's to make an army for his masters, the Great Beasts.
Evie had been captured and Jacob quickly went to rescue her, with the help of the Champions and Alpha Flight he was able to save his sister. But when Renark joined the battle the tide began to turn against them.
But Jacob as able to save the day when he discovered that not only was he able to transform into not only a Wendigo, but various other supernatural beings as well.
With his new powers the two teams were able to defeat Ranark and return all his victims back to their true forms.
After the battle Jacob's mother told him the truth about his father. And Jacob had nothing but love to offer to his mother. And they were able to finally lay the memory of his father to rest.

His strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflex's and stamina are all just above human. His senses are enhanced as well, he is capable of tracking a person over small distances through scent alone and can see further and has perfect clarity in the dark. His healing is enhanced, allowing him to heal from severe lacerations in a matter of seconds, though more serious injuries require more time
Supernatural Shape-Shifting: Similar to Snowbird Jacob can transform into a manner of beasts, the only difference being he turns into mythological animals from the lore of the Americas. Jacob gains the appearance and abilities of whatever creature he turns into while retaining his consciousness. He has turned into creatures like Wendigos, Thunderbirds, Gaasyendietha, Amarok, Achiyalatopa, Pukwudgie, Wampus Cat, Horned Serpent and more.
