| - Just Great Values is a family owned and operated business located in Harmony, North Carolina (previously North Aurora, Illinois up to November 2010). For almost a decade, JGV has operated several large niche websites including the popular PilesOfPillows.com which once carried thousands of different pillow and bedding options for the home. However, due to the economic downturn, many suppliers folded causing JGV to re-evaluate their niche market strategy. After much thought and planning, JGV launched JustGreatValues.com at the beginning of 2012. Instead of catering to a single niche market, JustGreatValues.com now offers hundreds of different products across many diverse categories within their two house and home lines. JGV strongly believes there is a difference between a house and a home. JGV's House & Home page reads, “By definition, a house is simply a structure – nothing more, nothing less. In order to build a house, all you need is some materials, technical knowledge and money. A house provides protection from the elements and a place to store stuff. You can live in a house that does not feel like a home, which is why a home is something quite different... You've probably heard it said before that a home is where the heart is. In order to be a home, it needs to be a place where you are comfortable, a place where you feel like you belong. Even if you don't own the house, the home is still yours. What makes the difference you ask? In one word: family. That is why Just Great Values carries both home improvement products and kid/family products in order to help you fix and/or upkeep both of life's biggest investments: your house and your home.” Currently, JGV’s house categories offer products ranging from Champion Juicers for the kitchen, themed pillows woven by Pure County Weavers, and preparedness closet supplies from leading manufactures like Wise Food Co., Lindon Farms, and Augason Farms. JGV’s home categories offer products like the popular cornhole lights & scoreboards, camping supplies and kid friendly aquarium ornaments. In addition to their goal to help families flourish, JGV supports FMSC with every item that is purchased. The non-profit organization, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) supplies food for highly malnourished children in upwards of 70 countries around the world. The approach is unique: scientists from major food companies specially created a formula for malnourished children that is safe and easy to transport, simple to make with only boiling water, and culturally acceptable worldwide. These meals are handpicked by volunteers here in the US, thus keeping costs at a minimum -- a single meal costs less than 25¢! In 2011, JGV provided meals for over 10,000 children and hopes to make that 30,000 by the end of 2012. In addition to helping feed starving children themselves, JGV hopes to raise awareness and donor support for the FMSC concept. While offering quality products with great customer service remain top priorities at JGV, its owners feel that strengthening families and helping the world at large are just as important company priorities.
