The Flame of Truth is a sentient magical fire kept in the dungeons deep beneath Stormfallen. As an impartial record keeper, it does not serve Tyranna. Tyranna, current possessor of the Flame, considers it a very useful asset in her arsenal, as it serves as an unbiased record keeper and as it alone knows the location of the Ancient Demon Lords. The Flame also sees fit to test aspiring Knights before they can train with them given that, if one cannot stand up to the Flames of Truth, their body will be unable to carry the demonic flame. It has rarely seen humans trying to undergo the ritual. The rite for those who seek to inherit the powers of the Demon Lords is normally designed for demons as human bodies do not tend to survive well against its flames. It also requires the Knight to face the truth about its own kind. During the ritual, a red hemisphere of the Flame engulf the Knight as red beams emit around where the subject stands, and visions start appearing in front of him or her while the Flame narrates. When it is finished, and the undergoer has survived, it teleports him or her to see an Ancient Demon Lord. (Knight Class)
