Maynard F. Schurman (born July 18, 1957 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played left wing in seven National Hockey League (NHL) games with the Hartford Whalers during the 1979–80 season. He played university hockey with the Mount Allison Mounties from 1975 to 1977. Undrafted by any NHL club, Schurman was signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1978 after spending a season with the senior Spokane Flyers. Schurman made a brief comeback with the San Diego Surf in 1992-93.

He played 1978-79 in the minor pros and then was chosen by the Hartford Whalers in the 1979 NHL Expansion Draft. He got into seven games with the Whalers in 1979-80, scoring no points, and then played in the minor pros until he retired in 1984. Schurman made a brief comeback with the San Diego Surf in 1992-93.
