Günther Viezenz (1 February 1921 – 14 January 1999) was a highly decorated German Hauptmann in the Wehrmacht. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Vienzez was born in Göhlenau (Golińsk), Province of Lower Silesia After World War II Viezenz joined the Bundeswehr on April 1, 1956 and retired as Oberst on March 30, 1980. He died in Cologne.
