All true, to varying degrees. After her mother was killed in a car accident in 2002, Tabia (or Tabe, to her friends) entered foster care, eventually running away. She left Las Vegas to look for her father, a man she'd never met (and a Silent Strider, although this isn't something she ever knew), which led her to St. Claire. Although she never found him, she found the Garou. Still clueless of her own status, she attempted to pick a fight with Cat Harper, intending to let him win and give him a confidence boost. Instead, she made things worse, goading him near to frenzy and injuring Rina in her own fox frenzy and first change that ensued when Rina intervened in an effort to stop the fight. Tabia was turned over to the Silent Striders for training, and eventually settled in rather comfortably at Hidden Walk, making a number of close friends with whom she intended to pack with after her Rite of Passage. There were no indications that she intended to run away, but she vanished without a trace in January of 2004.
