Therin is an ambassador from the Kingdom of Eastfen who visits Eternos in the animated version of "The Dragon's Gift" (in the minicomic, it was an unnamed cloaked stranger), bringing a jade bust as a gift for King Randor. However, he is really Skeletor in disguise, and the gift is enchanted with the Weird of Crystal, which will turn Randor into a crystal statue. Man-At-Arms recognizes Skeletor and takes the gift aside, so he is the one affected by the spell instead.
