Then the entrance music begins playing; first the groom's music, as the Emperor and his procession enter from the north; then the bride's music, as the Empress and her procession enter from the south. As the two meet in front of the altar, they smile radiantly at each other, and you know that this is not just a political marriage for either of them. Arrayed behind them in the west are the various nobles and officers of distinction from each army - you see Sidon, Areyh, George, Cid, Shadowhawk, and Kydem scattered in the front two rows.

As the two meet in front of the altar, they smile radiantly at each other, and you know that this is not just a political marriage for either of them. Arrayed behind them in the west are the various nobles and officers of distinction from each army - you see Sidon, Areyh, George, Cid, Shadowhawk, and Kydem scattered in the front two rows. Then the High Priestess of Valitisa advances to the altar and begins the service, invoking the presence of all the Thousand Gods. After a lengthy, a very lengthy, homily, the High Priestess begins the actual wedding. Just as she approaches the wedding vows, the sun vanishes from overhead, hidden in a sudden cloud of darkness that plunges the entire temple into shadow.Then, stepping forth from mid-air, a troop of khayal and undead appear, obviously intent on preventing the marriage vows, killing the Emperor or Empress, and as many nobles as they can as well. A large battle ensues, with Cid, Shadowhawk, and Kydem striking first while the invaders are still recovering from their transport. Meanwhile, Sidon, Areyh, and George have joined forces with the Imperial Guards to protect the Emperor and Empress. While the battle rages, the groom and bride complete their wedding vows, and then lead their assembled forces in a counterattack. As they surround the invading forces and press inwards, the shadowed clouds overhead shrink and thin. As the last khayal flees back to the land of shadows, the rest of the invading force destroyed, the clouds disappear entirely. Their is a brief pause, and then loud cheering.
